fonial launches online marketing for its cloud-based telephone system
- Immediate availability: after online registration fonial can be used directly
- Target group: start-ups and small companies with 5 to 20 employees
- Sophisticated technology in QSC’s All-IP network
Cologne, 11 January 2016. fonial GmbH, a Cologne-based subsidiary of QSC AG, has launched the direct marketing of its cloud-based technology under the “fonial” brand (www.fonial.de). fonial is only available online and can be used immediately after registration. fonial functions at workplaces, as well as mobile via smartphone or tablet. Via an online shop, customers can also obtain IP telephones tailored to the product from various manufacturers.
Basic functions, such as parallel ringtones and mailboxes, can already be used at no cost. fonial also provides its customers with prefix codes from across the whole of Germany.
From Euro 2.90 per extension, customers receive additional features, such as busy lamp fields (BLF), call pick-up, conferences, individual hold music, extensive fax functions and an individually configurable menu system (IVR) facilitating targeted caller management. The offering is rounded off with additionally bookable national all-net and fixed network flat-rate tariffs.
Furthermore, customers can reserve further telephone number blocks in return for a one-off fee and then only pay for these when they are actually used. This makes particular sense for companies that only have larger call number requirements on a sporadic basis.
Maximum flexibility: extensions can be cancelled on a month-by-month basis
What’s more, all telephone numbers can be booked and cancelled on a month-by-month basis. This way, customers enjoy absolute flexibility and can tailor the system exactly to their needs. A proprietary online shop also enables customers to order the latest IP terminals.
Self-service principle
The cloud-based telephone system can be installed online at any time and from anywhere via a personal customer account. Customers benefit from favourable terms due to the self-service principle. Intuitive navigation and extensive online assistance with easy-to-understand configuration videos accompany customers throughout the entire process. Should any question still remain unanswered, then support is available free of charge. In return for a premium, customers can also book service packages in which a support staff member assists them in configuring their system.

fonial is based on QSC’s Solucon platform. This offers all necessary communications interfaces to the All-IP network at QSC AG. To provide maximum security against the risk of any system failure, this platform is simultaneously operated at several geographically separate data centres of QSC AG.
