QSC AG prepares company networks at Creditreform for the future

  • Major QSC customer extends term and scope of contract
  • Higher bandwidths of up to 1,000 Mbit/s for digitisation projects
  • Managed network services, including failure protection

Cologne, 6 March 2018 – Creditreform, the credit agency and debt collection service provider, will be accelerating its company network for its digitisation projects. Here, it will be relying in future on the managed network services provided by QSC AG. Part of the services QSC provides involve central management and monitoring, also of heterogeneous network infrastructures, and that independently of the access provider and the underlying technology. In future, Creditreform will benefit from features including bandwidths of up to 1,000 Mbit/s. The company has more than 140 national and international locations and these have carrier-redundant and technically independent backup scenarios which ensure permanent access to business-critical applications and network services.

Future-proof company network for Creditreform

With QSC’s IP-based network, Creditreform will also have the option of integrating further services, such as IP telephony, into its network in future. “QSC’s managed network services help us to better manage the growing data traffic volumes within the Creditreform Group. Not only that, irrespective of the carrier it is important for us to have a central contact partner for our network services”, comments Volker Leyens, Managing Director at ECOFIS GmbH, a company of the Creditreform Group.

Network quality crucial for success of digitisation projects

“Reliable, high-volume network connections, both between individual company locations and with the internet, are a prerequisite for the success of digitisation projects at many medium-sized companies”, adds Bert Wilden, Head of Telecommunications Sales at QSC. “Consistently managed networks, round-the-clock monitoring and the best possible connection at every location, whether by SDSL, VDSL, glass fibre or wireless local loops (WLL) – these are crucial factors for securing day-to-day business operations at virtually all companies.”
