QSC and WorldCom to collaborate

Cologne, December 11, 2000 - QSC AG (QSCG), a leading German alternative provider of DSL-based broadband infrastructure, is entering a partnership with WorldCom, one of the key global players in the field of voice, data and Internet communication services. WorldCom is one of the world's leading telecommunications companies and concentrates primarily on servicing business customers with its own fibre optic network capacities.

WorldCom will be deploying QSC's broadband technology for SDSL access in 23 major German cities, thus extending its existing product portfolio for voice/data communication. QSC provides symmetric, "always-on" SDSL connections with scaleable bandwidths ranging from 144 Kilobit per second to 2 Megabit per second.

By collaborating with WorldCom in Germany, QSC is increasing its potential clientele in the lucrative market for business customers.
So far, QSC has built a network infrastructure linking 38 cities and has already signed contracts for 6000 lines.
