QSC to sell directly to business users

Cologne, February 19, 2001. QSC AG (Nasdaq: QSCG), the leading alternative provider of DSL-based broadband infrastructure in Germany, will be selling a symmetric DSL product called 'business-DSL' directly to small and medium-sized business customers as from April 2001. business-dsl provides customers with broadband access to the Internet and comprehensive Internet services as a complete package.

By extending its marketing and sales operations directly to business users in this way, QSC expects to generate a considerable volume of additional sales potential in the market for small and medium-sized businesses. In 40 major German cities, the new business-DSL product will provide 'always-on' scaleable bandwidth connections at speeds ranging from 144 kilobit to 2.3 megabit per second in both directions.
