QSC to launch its own mobile services

Cologne, May 23, 2011. QSC AG, a provider of services for voice and data communication and ICT services, now plans to offer mobile services under its own name. To facilitate this, the company has signed a partnership agreement with Düsseldorf-based E-Plus Group. QSC will commence marketing during the third quarter of 2011.

The mobile offering will address both business customers as well as QSC's marketing partners who specialize in business customers. The planned mobile contracts will offer cost-effective flat rates to all German voice networks. Moreover, the services will also include flat rate plans for mobile data communication. Customers will be able to choose whether they want to utilize only the mobile rates with SIM card or would also like to procure mobile end-user devices from QSC. With this move, the company is responding to the rising customer demand for one-stop shopping for fixed network and mobile services.

"Following the acquisition of IP Partner AG and INFO AG as specialists for IT services, the inclusion of mobile services makes our comprehensive portfolio of ICT services all but complete," is the way QSC CEO Bernd Schlobohm explains the partnership that has now been forged with the E-Plus Group. "The perfect interplay between mobile and fixed-network communication, will additionally afford us any number of opportunities for new and innovative product ideas."
