Stadtwerke Neumünster signs early IT Outsourcing contract extension with QSC AG

Cologne, December 18, 2014. Stadtwerke Neumünster (SWN) has signed an early IT Outsourcing contract extension with QSC AG. The contract, which was originally planned to end in March 2016, has now been extended for a further three years until March 31, 2019. QSC AG has been handling IT Outsourcing services for SWN in the areas of basic and application operations, client and printing services as well as on-site support and security and license management.

Stadtwerke Neumünster is a municipal service company in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein with a focus on energy, mobility, water, telecommunications and leisure for Neumünster and other communities in the vicinity. The sole owner of SWN is the City of Neumünster.

As a specialist in IT Outsourcing, QSC offers a wide range of services for its customers. In addition to professional consulting on optimizing IT operations and service processes, this also includes workstation and application operations, in all of its facets, according to internationally recognized standards.

For Stadtwerke Neumünster, this professionalism was crucial for the now completed contract extension: "QSC AG has proven to be a reliable partner for our IT operations. Together, we have managed to optimize our IT processes and orient them toward the issues that are important to us. As a result, it was an easy decision for us to now extend the contract for an additional three years until 2019," comments Matthias Trunk, Managing Director of Stadtwerke Neumünster Beteiligungen GmbH.

"I am very pleased about the trust they have placed in us," adds QSC Management Board Member Henning Reinecke regarding the signing of the contract. "Seamless IT processes are an absolute must in a modern company like Stadtwerke Neumünster. In addition to providing professional support for the business processes via IT, collaborating in a spirit of partnership is also very important to us. Professionalism and cooperation form the basis for long-term collaboration and stability. Both sides will continue to benefit from these traits."
