QSC reorganises management and appoints cloud experts Udo Faulhaber and Felix Höger to Management Board

Cologne, 30 March 2015. QSC AG will be reorganising and extending its Management Board team in line with its strategy of becoming the leading cloud service provider to medium-sized enterprises in Germany. The Supervisory Board of QSC AG has decided to appoint Udo Faulhaber and Felix Höger to the Management Board.

Udo Faulhaber, currently responsible for sales and marketing on the Management Board of Pironet NDH AG, will become Chief Sales Officer at QSC AG from 1 August 2015. In this role, he will focus the Company’s sales and marketing in particular on addressing medium-sized enterprises and actively press ahead with marketing new multi-cloud services. Multi-cloud services enable companies to use both traditional IT applications and new public and private cloud services on a joint platform. They are therefore particularly in demand from medium-sized enterprises in Germany.

Udo Faulhaber has excellent skills in managing sales organisations in a cloud computing context. A graduate in engineering, Faulhaber gained extensive experience in leading positions at Nixdorf, Bayer and Postbank, and above all as a successful entrepreneur and manager at NCC GmbH (later arxes AG). Faulhaber joined Pironet NDH as a managing director in 2008, was appointed to the Management Board in 2012 and worked together with CEO Felix Höger to turn the company into one of Germany’s leading cloud service providers.

As Chief Sales Officer of QSC AG, Udo Faulhaber will succeed Henning Reinecke, who will retain responsibility for this area until 30 April 2015. “Henning Reinecke has played a decisive role in helping shape QSC’s successful transformation from a TC provider into a one-stop ICT provider. Particular achievements are his establishment of sustainable and successful sector sales operations, and the strong, trusting relationships he forged with our customers, technology and sales partners and our employees. For this, I would like to offer him my sincere thanks”, commented Dr. Bernd Schlobohm, Chairman of QSC AG’s Supervisory Board.

Felix Höger, CEO at the publicly listed company Pironet NDH AG until 31 December 2014, will join the Management Board of QSC AG with responsibility for technology and operations from 1 January 2016. Höger already founded the service provider NDH during his training in 1995. In 2000, he merged this company with the software manufacturer Pironet to form today’s Pironet NDH AG. A well-known player in the sector and a pioneer and trailblazer for cloud computing among German SMEs, he has turned Pironet NDH from a network service and outsourcing provider into a successful and profitable cloud service provider.

One key factor in this success was the SME-focused development of an innovative, comprehensive cloud service portfolio enjoying high market acceptance and offering value chain depth. Furthermore, the services provided are also characterised by great benefits of scale and the highest possible efficiency. Precisely these areas will also form the key focus of his future responsibilities on the Management Board at QSC AG.

Until Felix Höger joins the company, Udo Faulhaber will also be responsible for his areas of activity on the Management Board.

“With Felix Höger and Udo Faulhaber, we will be supplementing our Management Board with two proven industry experts and entrepreneurs who have shown how cloud services can be successfully developed and marketed for German SMEs. This expertise is enormously valuable to QSC”, commented Jürgen Hermann, CEO of QSC AG, when welcoming the Supervisory Board’s decision.
