Telefónica Deutschland and QSC AG extend cooperation in fixed-network connections for corporate customers

Cologne, 4 April 2017 - Telefónica Deutschland is now also drawing on network services from QSC AG for its fixed-network connections for corporate customers. By extending its existing cooperation with QSC to SDSL connections, the company is supplementing its portfolio of partners. Telefónica Deutschland uses these SDSL connections to provide corporate customers with internet, VPN and voice services. As one of Telefónica Deutschland’s preliminaries suppliers, QSC will therefore be responsible in future for Telefónica Deutschland’s existing and new SDSL corporate customer connections.

“QSC has longstanding experience in providing network services”, comments Dirk Grote, Director of B2B at Telefónica Deutschland. “We are therefore delighted to continue our activities as a provider of fixed-network corporate customer connections and SDSL lines together with QSC as one of our partners. This way, Telefónica Deutschland is consistently pressing ahead with becoming an onlife telco provider.”

For QSC, this further cooperation with Telefónica Deutschland provides a strengthening of its own TC corporate customer business. Comments Jürgen Hermann, CEO of QSC AG: “Backbone and network services for telecommunications providers and corporate customers are an important component of our portfolio. We will be seizing the opportunities arising in this market in future as well.”
