q.beyond expands Microsoft Teams telephony business

Cologne, 23 September 2025 – q.beyond AG is further expanding its business with Teams telephony services and has recently gained new customers including the Swabia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Schwaben), the automotive supplier Swoboda Technologies, and the mechanical engineering company Hundegger.

In demand as an implementation partner

q.beyond has gained more than ten years of Teams experience with direct customers and as an implementation partner to Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, and other companies. Following due analysis and based on the respective concept it fully replaces the traditional telephone systems at customers across Germany and worldwide. The IT service provider supplies Teams as a turnkey solution together with the desired hardware.

If required, customers can book subsequent operation of Teams telephony as a fully managed service with 24/7 support. This also applies to solutions designed to meet complex individual requirements, such as contact centre functions. Here, intelligent call distribution in particular supports customers’ business processes and standards. q.beyond also offers custom-fit telephony solutions for industrial players and for companies with particularly high security requirements. Meeting room solutions also form part of q.beyond’s Microsoft Teams services.

Rollout across Europe and worldwide

q.beyond generally implements the conversion to Teams telephony on a step-by-step basis tailored to the needs of the individual company and at the pace required by the customer. This approach has proven itself, particularly for pan-European and worldwide rollouts in which q.beyond pools numerous national network providers under one standardised roof. In addition, q.beyond safeguards acceptance of the new Teams solution at the company by working with change adoption management and training company staff responsible for the solution.

OnePhoneBook extends Teams with smart contact integration

With its internally developed Teams app “OnePhoneBook” and its “OnePhoneBook-Agent”, the IT service provider has expanded Teams telephony to include a fully integrated solution that pools contact data in a central telephone book for the whole of the individual company. This solution facilitates smart, context-based, and fully integrated contact searches that go well beyond the traditional functionality of Teams and Exchange. To this end, OnePhoneBook centrally conflates contacts from a wide variety of sources, such as Active Directory / Entra ID, CRM and ERP systems, SQL databases, and SharePoint lists.

The OnePhoneBook-Agent automatically accounts for individual authorisations and thus ensures compliance with the data protection and compliance requirements applicable at the respective company.
