next-gen.consulting is a specialized technology company for data-driven applications and AI solutions, supporting companies from startups to corporations in the development and implementation of modern IT and AI applications. The focus is on high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions for data-driven business models. With "next-gen psy," the company has developed its own platform to support forensic psychological work processes for forensic psychological experts. This platform supports AI-assisted workflows while consistently adhering to data protection, traceability, and regulatory requirements.
The project
With next-gen psy, next-gen.consulting operates its own AI-powered platform to support forensic psychological workflows. The user interface utilizes the q.beyond Private Enterprise AI solution to process sensitive data in a regulated environment. The goal is the secure and scalable analysis of forensic psychological interviews and documents while maintaining full data control. Given the requirements of the EU AI Act, it was necessary to evaluate the AI systems used, implement regulatory requirements, and establish a governance structure. A sovereign infrastructure enables a high-performance AI application – without dependence on cloud providers.
To implement this, the q.beyond managed service "AI Act as a Service" was implemented. This enables the systematic classification of the deployed AI systems into the risk categories of the EU AI Act and the derivation of the applicable regulatory requirements. A key component is the automated creation and maintenance of the required documentation: audit trails, decision logs, and compliance records are systematically captured and provided in an audit-proof manner.
In addition, q.beyond provides a central dashboard that clearly displays all AI systems, their risk classes, and their current compliance status. This makes pending actions visible and allows for targeted management. The system is infrastructure-independent – suitable for AI systems in cloud environments as well as on-premises hardware.
